Enterprise Sales Engineer
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Enterprise Sales Engineer based in United Kingdom.
This is a high-impact opportunity to serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout complex enterprise sales cycles.
You will help prospective customers understand how advanced fraud, risk, and compliance solutions can address their most critical challenges.
Working closely with Account Executives, Product, Engineering, Security, and other teams, you will connect customer needs with scalable technical solutions.
You will lead tailored product demonstrations, develop solution designs, contribute to RFPs, and guide technical stakeholders through evaluations.
Your expertise will also influence product priorities by bringing valuable insights from the field back to internal teams.
The role suits a technically strong, commercially minded professional who enjoys variety, ambiguity, consultative problem-solving, and ownership.
You will operate in a global, remote-first environment where technical credibility, customer impact, and revenue growth are closely connected.
Accountabilities
- Partner with Account Executives to understand prospective customers' fraud, risk, compliance, and technical requirements and translate them into compelling solution strategies.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the enterprise sales process, helping prospects connect their business challenges with relevant platform capabilities.
- Prepare and deliver customized, high-quality product demonstrations that clearly communicate technical functionality, business value, and potential customer outcomes.
- Develop comprehensive solution designs that address prospect requirements and demonstrate how the proposed solution can integrate into their existing technology environment.
- Work directly with security and technical teams to explain security capabilities, address concerns, and successfully support customer security reviews.
- Complete and coordinate responses to RFPs and other technical requirements for competitive enterprise opportunities.
- Analyze complex customer challenges and develop practical, technically sound recommendations that support successful sales outcomes.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to identify product gaps, communicate customer feedback, and help prioritize improvements and new solutions.
- Share field insights and emerging customer requirements to contribute to product strategy, market awareness, and future go-to-market initiatives.
- Collaborate with other Sales Engineers to continuously improve sales engineering processes, methodologies, resources, and best practices.
- Support a customer-centric approach across the sales organization while balancing technical feasibility, business objectives, and customer expectations.

Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Systems Engineer, or in a comparable technical customer-facing role.
- Previous experience working in the risk, fraud, compliance, financial crime, cybersecurity, or a closely related domain.
- Strong understanding of APIs and JSON, with proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Go, or Java.
- Ability to understand technical architectures and translate complex requirements into clear, practical solution designs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate technical challenges and turn findings into actionable recommendations.
- Experience working with technical and non-technical stakeholders throughout complex enterprise sales cycles.
- Strong presentation and product demonstration skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to adapt messaging to engineers, security teams, business leaders, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while managing multiple opportunities and priorities.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within globally distributed teams.
- A consultative, customer-focused mindset combined with strong commercial awareness and technical credibility.
- Knowledge of web development principles or experience building internal tools using a relevant programming language is a plus.
