About 8fundraising

Founders, fund managers and real estate sponsors come to us when they need capital and can't get in front of the right investors. We run the raise for them: we build the investor list, run the outreach, produce the content and coach them through the round until it closes. We are a Top 100 Business publication on Substack, which is where most of our clients find us, and our content engine has booked over 250 sales calls in 20 days on its own.

What We Sell

  • Implementation: we build the founder's complete fundraising system, investor list, outreach, materials and positioning, and hand it over ready to run.
  • Hands-On: we run the raise with the founder, week by week, from first investor contact to closed round.

Both are delivered by our team on top of two tools we built in-house: 8Raise, our investor discovery platform, and 8MKT, our AI marketing engine. You sell the service. The tools are how we deliver it, and they are your proof on every call.

Everything we do is built by a small team that uses AI in every part of the business, from investor research to content to sales. We are operators who have sat on both sides of a raise and know what it feels like when investors go quiet. If you want to sell something that changes a company's future, we want to hear from you.

How we work

  • High-velocity: small team, fast decisions, no bureaucracy. A good idea on Monday is live by Friday.
  • Outcomes not hours: we measure closes, pipeline and revenue. Remote means remote.
  • AI first: every role runs on AI tools, from investor discovery to content to CRM hygiene. We expect you to use them daily and to get better results with them than without.
  • Every call reviewed: sales calls are recorded and scored weekly. That is how closers get sharper, and it applies to the founders too.
  • Global team: we prioritize your talent, not your location.

What we offer

  • Base salary plus uncapped commission: paid monthly on every deal you close.
  • Higher commission on self-sourced deals: we want you hunting, and we pay more for the deals you find yourself.
  • Equity: an option grant for the person who proves it, unlocked after three consecutive months at target.
  • A full calendar from day one: booked calls with founders and fund managers who are actively raising, so your outbound compounds instead of carrying you.
  • Real ownership: you are our first enterprise sales hire and you will shape how we sell.
  • Fully remote: work from anywhere that lets you cover our calling hours.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

About The Role

As our Enterprise Sales professional at 8fundraising, you will sell our fundraising services, Implementation and Hands-On, to founders, fund managers and sponsors who need to raise capital. You own the full sales cycle: the booked calls we hand you and the pipeline you build yourself, working directly with the co-founders.

Role

We don't sell software. We sell a done-with-you raise: the right investors, in front of the founder, replying, with our team doing the work. Each client is a company with a real problem and a real budget to fix it. Your job is to diagnose which service fits, show them how we deliver it, and close. In this role you will:

  • Run the booked calls we hand you end to end: discovery, pitch, objections and close on the same call.
  • Close on the call, or lock a dated next step before you hang up. "I'll think about it" is a loss you own.
  • Match each founder to the right service, Implementation or Hands-On, and own the deal desk: proposals, pricing conversations and getting the agreement signed.
  • Follow up the same day on every open opportunity, structured, with a deadline.
  • Build your own pipeline using 8Raise, our data and our playbook, deciding who is worth a conversation and opening the door through LinkedIn, email, events or warm intros.
  • Work your network: founders, fund managers and sponsors you already know who are raising, and the ones they introduce you to.
  • Publish content around the brand using the ideas and approach that booked those 250 calls, with your name on it
  • Become the account owner once a client signs. The client is yours.
  • Keep the CRM accurate at all times: every call logged, every next step dated.
  • Feed the market back to the founders. You are closest to the buyer and your notes shape the offer.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in B2B or enterprise sales, in software, professional services, financial services or agency, selling to founders, executives or business owners.
  • A personal closing record with numbers you can show: deal count, ticket size, close rate, quota attainment. You ran the call and asked for the signature yourself.
  • Outbound experience: you have built pipeline from zero before, not only worked leads someone handed you.
  • Comfortable selling a high-ticket service with a technical delivery: you can walk a founder through how 8Raise and 8MKT do the work without a solutions engineer on the call.
  • Real AI fluency: you use AI tools every day and can explain an outreach engine, a CRM and an automation stack to a non-technical founder.
  • Strong writing: you will publish posts and write your own outbound, so clear, sharp writing matters.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable with variable pay: this seat rewards performance, not tenure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Spanish is a plus.

Big plus, not required

  • You have been around a raise, either on the capital side (investment banking, family office, VC, PE, placement, investor relations) or you have raised money yourself as a founder or operator. If you know what a term sheet is and what it feels like when investors go quiet, you will ramp in half the time.

Location

This role is fully remote and can be executed from anywhere, however the ability to work 13:00 to 21:00 CET (07:00 to 15:00 US Eastern) is required, as that is when founders book. There is a preference for candidates based in Europe or the Americas for timezone overlap with our clients.
