Enterprise Software Engineer
Up to £100,000
London (4 days a week in office)

THE ROLE
As an Enterprise Software Engineer, you will build impactful enterprise software used across a leading investment environment, working with modern technologies, complex challenges, and clear opportunities for career growth.

Specifically, you can expect to be involved in the following:
- Design, build, and maintain enterprise software applications that support key business functions.
- Develop scalable, reliable, and high-performance solutions using modern engineering practices.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Own projects throughout the full software development lifecycle, from design through deployment and support.
- Work with engineers across multiple teams to solve complex technical challenges.

- Help drive innovation by identifying opportunities to improve systems and development processes.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The successful Enterprise Software Engineer will have the following skills and experience:

- Strong commercial experience developing production-grade software using Python.
- Experience with an object-oriented programming language such as Java or C#.
- Experience designing and delivering scalable enterprise applications.
- Good understanding of SQL databases and data management principles.
- Knowledge of financial markets or experience working with financial products.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in a regulated or financial services environment is advantageous.
- Exposure to AI-assisted development tools or practices would be beneficial.
- Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
