Enterprise Architect – Digital Transformation (3‑Month rolling Contract)

August–October 2026 | Immediate Start | Senior Strategic Role

We’re supporting a major digital-transformation programme and looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead the architectural direction, estimating discipline, and initiation of Near-term scope ahead of the October 2026 business case.

This is a high-impact role working directly with senior leadership, shaping target architecture, procurement readiness, and cross-directorate preparation activity.

What You’ll Lead

  • Drive the October 2026 business case, partnering with the Head of IT/DDaT and finance.
  • Define current and future-state architecture and build robust estimating bases for Urgent and Near-term scope.
  • Initiate “Near 1 · Prepare” work across all directorates, including data governance, identifiers, finance controls, and integration roadmap support.
  • Produce procurement packs ready to move straight to tender post-approval.
  • Support the capacity re-baseline (v1) and revalidate a 1,521-item requirements register.
  • Provide architectural insight into the Volunteer Management System (VMS) procurement route.
  • Operate within the DDaT Operating Model, enabling directorate-led preparation rather than replacing it.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
