Role Description
The Entertainment Banker will support the financing and structuring of entertainment projects, with a focus on film, television, and digital media initiatives sourced through Your Script Produced!. This contract role is fully remote and involves evaluating project proposals, assessing financial viability, and advising on funding strategies and deal structures. Daily tasks include building and analyzing financial models, preparing investment decks and pitch materials, and coordinating with producers, legal advisors, and potential investors. The Entertainment Banker will help negotiate terms, monitor project performance, and provide ongoing financial guidance to ensure sustainable, inclusive project development. The role also involves maintaining relationships with funding partners and exploring new capital sources aligned with the organization’s mission.

Qualifications
- Experience in entertainment or media finance, including film, television, or digital content funding and deal structuring.
- Strong financial analysis skills, including budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow modeling, and investment evaluation.
- Knowledge of entertainment industry business models, revenue streams, and risk assessment for creative projects.
- Ability to prepare clear pitch documents, presentations, and investor communications tailored to diverse stakeholders.
- Comfort working remotely, managing multiple projects, and collaborating with creative and business teams across time zones.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with a commitment to inclusive and ethical practices.
- Prior experience with independent productions or supporting underrepresented creators is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field, or equivalent professional experience in entertainment banking or project finance.
