IAM / Entra ID Engineer (Contract)
A growing insurance company is seeking an experienced IAM / Entra ID Engineer to support and enhance its identity and access management capabilities across a Microsoft-centric environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) tools, and wider Microsoft infrastructure technologies.
Essential Skills
- Strong experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Expertise in Identity & Access Management (IAM) and identity lifecycle management
- Hands-on experience with IGA (Identity Governance & Administration) tools such as SailPoint, Saviynt, Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) or similar
- Experience with SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, RBAC and Privileged Identity Management (PIM)
- Knowledge of Joiner, Mover, Leaver processes, access reviews and entitlement management
- Strong experience across Microsoft 365 and hybrid identity environments
- PowerShell scripting and automation experience
- Experience working within regulated environments, ideally Insurance or Financial Services

Desirable Skills
- Broader Microsoft infrastructure experience across Active Directory, Windows Server, Intune and Exchange Online
- Experience with Microsoft Entra Identity Governance
- Knowledge of Azure infrastructure and security services
- Experience delivering IAM transformation or cloud migration projects
- Understanding of Zero Trust security principles
- Previous Insurance sector experience

Job Details
- Rate: £600 P/D Outside IR35
- Contract Duration: Initial 6 Months
- Location: London EC3A / WFH Hybrid
- Start Date: ASAP (up to 4 weeks notice considered)
