Role Description

The Entrepreneur at voltsev will lead the development, validation, and growth of new business ideas from concept through execution. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Conducting market research
  • Defining value propositions
  • Creating basic business and financial models
  • Coordinating product or service development with internal and external partners

This is a full-time hybrid role, based in Weymouth, with the flexibility to work from home for part of the week.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset, with experience starting, managing, or significantly contributing to a new venture, project, or product.
  • Strong business acumen, including basic financial literacy, market analysis, and the ability to create simple business plans or models.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly, prepare concise pitches, and build relationships with partners, customers, and stakeholders.
  • High level of self-motivation, resilience, and comfort with uncertainty, including the ability to prioritize, manage time effectively, and take initiative without close supervision.
  • Proficiency with common digital tools (e.g., office productivity tools, online collaboration platforms) and openness to learning new software as needed.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborating in person in Weymouth and remotely, while maintaining accountability and clear communication.
  • Relevant experience in startups, small businesses, consulting, or innovation-focused roles is highly beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, entrepreneurship, management, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent practical experience is also valued.
