Role Description
The Entrepreneur In Residence (EIR) at Boost is a full-time, on-site role based in Manchester. The EIR will explore, validate, and develop new product and business opportunities within Boost’s care support ecosystem, including digital services and learning solutions. - Conducting market research
- Designing and testing hypotheses
- Building business cases
- Collaborating with product, technology, and operations teams to shape new offerings
- Engaging with users and partners to gather feedback, iterate on concepts, and support pilot programs and go-to-market plans

This role also involves:
- Mentoring team members
- Contributing to strategic planning
- Representing Boost at relevant events and stakeholder meetings
Qualifications
- Entrepreneurial mindset with experience founding, scaling, or leading new ventures, especially in technology, education, or care-related sectors.
- Strong skills in market research, opportunity assessment, and business modeling, with the ability to translate insights into clear strategies and action plans.
- Experience working closely with product and engineering teams to design, test, and refine digital solutions or platforms.
- Proficiency in stakeholder engagement, including partnering with organizations, presenting concepts, and gathering structured feedback.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
- Background in business, entrepreneurship, product management, or a related field; relevant degree or equivalent practical experience is advantageous.
- Interest in or experience with the care sector, digital learning, or support services is a strong plus.
