Entry Level Business Development Representative (BDR)

Leeds | £28,000-£30,000 Base Salary + £16,000-£25,000 OTE

Are you ambitious, competitive, and looking for a career where your hard work directly impacts your progression and earnings? Have you worked towards targets before and enjoyed the challenge of achieving goals? Want to break into SaaS sales with an award-winning AI business that's growing rapidly and investing heavily in its future?

We're working with a high-growth technology company based in Leeds that is transforming how businesses use AI to drive commercial success. Their platform helps clients achieve an average 8:1 return on investment, they've recently received industry recognition for their innovative use of AI, and generated over £3.5 million in revenue last year alone.

Backed by private equity and with ambitious growth plans for the coming years, they're looking to invest in the next generation of sales talent.

The Role

As a Business Development Representative, you'll sit at the front end of the sales process, responsible for identifying and engaging potential clients, building relationships with decision-makers, and generating new business opportunities.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in SaaS sales. You'll receive hands-on training, work closely with experienced commercial leaders, and gain exposure to every stage of the sales cycle.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
