Edinburgh | Full-Time | On-Site | Immediate Start
Build Experience. Develop Leadership. Grow Into Management.
Graduated recently and finding the job market harder than expected?
Maybe you’ve sent out application after application without hearing back. Or perhaps you’re already working but feel stuck somewhere with limited development, little mentoring and no clear route to progress.
At Caledonia Group, we’re building something different.
We’re a growing sales and marketing agency based in Edinburgh, delivering face-to-face customer acquisition campaigns for established brands. In a world increasingly dominated by digital communication and automation, our clients are seeing growing demand for something technology can’t replace: genuine human connection.
We’re expanding our client portfolio across Scotland, the wider UK and, ultimately, internationally. That means we’re looking for ambitious people we can develop from the ground up and progress into leadership.
What You’ll Actually Learn
This isn’t a course where you sit in a classroom and wait for a certificate.
You’ll be working on live campaigns from the beginning, developing practical experience across:
- Face-to-face sales and customer acquisition
- Marketing and campaign management
- Customer communication and conversion
- Team development and leadership
- Recruitment and onboarding
- Performance management
- Client and campaign operations
- Business development and growth

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
As you develop, you’ll move from understanding the front-line operation to taking responsibility for the people, performance and decisions behind it.
More importantly, you’ll develop the mindset required to operate at management level — learning to take ownership, understand performance, solve problems and make decisions rather than waiting to be told what to do.
