About the Role
Medpace is seeking a Junior Account Analyst to join the Account Management department in London.
You will partner with clients and Medpace’s internal staff to develop project financial budgets and new business proposals. As a Junior Account Analyst, you will work alongside clients to collaborate on strategic budget development, ensuring alignment between their needs and Medpace’s goals.
This is a key opportunity to contribute to pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device advancements while building a fulfilling career at a leading clinical contract research organization (CRO).
Responsibilities
Collaborate directly with clients to co-create tailored cost estimates for RFPs, budget revisions, and contract amendments (often multi-million dollar budgets). Conduct financial and contractual budget oversight throughout the entire project lifecycle, from proposal/award stages through post-mortem reviews. Manage sponsor/client relationships throughout clinical research projects, processing budget adjustments and requests. Provide Sales and Account Teams a support through strategic and tactical account planning, as well as growth-oriented departmental initiatives. Collaborate cross-functionally across Medpace departments to fulfil internal and external project requests.

Requirements
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Health & Life Sciences (or equivalent relevant field).
- Technical Skills: High proficiency in computer systems and Microsoft® programs (e.g., Excel, Word).
As a new team member, you will learn about:
- Financial and accounting processes
- Drug development operations
- Medical terminology and key metrics
(Bonus: Previous experience in life sciences, finance, or similar roles will be highly valued.)
