We currently have an exciting opportunity within our Claims Insights team at Marsh. This role will be based in Norwich and is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Reporting to the Claims Insights Team Leader

This role will be responsible for producing both standardised and bespoke claims and wider data analytics reporting for our clients, as well as engaging with key business stakeholders and project managing wider claims analytics initiatives.

We will rely on you to:

  • Merge and consolidate complex data from a variety of sources.
  • Produce claims data summaries and insights as per our standard reporting templates, or bespoke data analysis as agreed with the client servicing team.
  • Analyse performance trends and anomalies within clients' claims histories.
  • Contribute to the achievement of Marsh Service Level Agreements, Key Performance Indicators and business objectives through the provision of Claims Reports and other standard or bespoke claims data services as required.
  • Build excellent business relationships and engage with key business stakeholders such as Claims Executives, Client Executives and Operational Risk Consultants to be an ambassador for the team and to identify future opportunities.
  • Focus on bespoke reporting where possible, which will sometimes mean presenting to clients.
  • Continue to innovate by finding new and more efficient ways of completing our work as well as new solutions to support the business and our clients, for example through collaboration with the Claims Solutions and Operational Risk Consulting teams.
  • Consider the commerciality of our work and how we can continue to be more efficient.
  • Engage with the wider Analytics and Risk Consulting teams, particularly around efficiency gains and automation to support the continual progression of the team.
  • Continue to maintain technical skills.

What you need to have:

  • Good level of education (computing or data related subjects/qualifications deal).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Keen interest in numerical tasks and projects.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • The confidence to work with a range of internal stakeholders and build trusted working relationships.
  • A continuous improvement mindset.

What makes you stand out:

  • Any previous experience in claims or broader insurance.
  • Knowledge or use of PowerBI, SQL Queries, or Python.
