Entry Level Engineer (Full Driving Licence / Office Based)

£22,000 - £26,500 + Company Benefits + Company Bonus + Full Training + Technical Progression

Location: Stoke - Office Based

Are you an aspiring Engineer with a full UK driving licence and an interest in machinery, looking to start your career with a long-established manufacturer offering structured training, hands-on technical development, and clear progression into a Technical Sales Engineer position?

This UK manufacturer, with a £21 million turnover, supplies innovative pumping and fluid handling solutions to the construction, utilities, housing, and wastewater sectors. With over 65 years of engineering expertise, they have built a reputation for delivering reliable, high-quality solutions trusted by contractors, developers, and local authorities across the UK.

In this role, you will support the technical sales team by handling customer enquiries, preparing quotations, maintaining CRM records, and assisting clients in selecting the correct pumping solutions for their projects. You'll gain valuable engineering knowledge through full training and work closely with experienced Technical Sales Engineers, giving you a clear pathway to progress within the business.

This role would suit a college leaver or junior candidate with strong communication skills, a full UK driving licence, and an interest in engineering or machinery, looking to build a long-term career with a respected engineering manufacturer.

The Role:

  • Support customers with technical product enquiries
  • Prepare quotations and tender documentation
  • Manage and update CRM records
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Develop technical product knowledge through structured training
  • 40-hour working week, flexible between 8:00am and 6:00pm

The Person:

  • College leaver or above
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong English and Maths skills
  • Interest in engineering, manufacturing, or machinery
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Own transport and commutable to Stoke
