Role Description

The Entry-Level ESL Online Tutor (Ref:EDU03/26) is a full-time remote role focused on delivering engaging English lessons to learners in virtual classrooms and one-to-one sessions. Day-to-day tasks include:

  • Planning and teaching interactive lessons
  • Guiding learners through speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities
  • Providing constructive feedback on assignments and performance
  • Using online tools and platforms to conduct live classes
  • Managing learning materials
  • Maintaining accurate records of attendance and progress
  • Adapting lessons to different proficiency levels
  • Supporting learners’ confidence and participation
  • Communicating clearly with learners and support staff
  • Following the organization’s teaching standards and policies

Qualifications

  • Good command of spoken and written English, with clear pronunciation and the ability to explain concepts simply.
  • Comfort with using video conferencing tools, learning management systems, and digital teaching resources.
  • Demonstrated patience, cultural sensitivity, and an encouraging, learner-focused approach.
