Role Description

The Entry-Level ESL Online Tutor (Ref: EDU04/26) is a full-time remote role focused on teaching English to learners of varying ages and proficiency levels via online platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering interactive online lessons
  • Guiding learners through speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities
  • Adapting teaching materials to meet individual learning needs
  • Providing constructive feedback
  • Tracking learner progress
  • Maintaining clear communication with learners and, where applicable, their parents or guardians

The role also involves using digital tools to manage schedules, attending occasional training sessions, and following eTEFL Training & Recruitment’s teaching guidelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong spoken and written English communication skills, with clear pronunciation
  • TEFL/TESOL certification or equivalent training (or willingness to obtain one) is highly beneficial
  • Comfort with using online teaching platforms, video conferencing tools, and digital learning resources
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain a reliable internet connection
