Role Description
The Entry-Level ESL Online Tutor (Ref:EDU9/26) is a full-time remote role focused on teaching English to learners of various ages and proficiency levels through online platforms. Day-to-day tasks include:
- Delivering structured lessons
- Explaining grammar and vocabulary
- Guiding learners through speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities
The tutor will:
- Prepare lesson materials
- Adapt content to learner needs
- Use interactive tools to maintain engagement in virtual classrooms
Additional responsibilities involve:
- Monitoring learner progress
- Providing constructive feedback
- Maintaining accurate records of attendance and performance

- Communicating professionally with learners and, where applicable, caregivers
- Participating in training or development sessions offered by eTEFL Training & Recruitment
Qualifications
- Reliable internet connection, suitable laptop or desktop computer, and familiarity with video conferencing tools
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adhere to scheduled class times
- Previous experience working with learners from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds is an advantage but not required
