Role Description

The Entry-Level ESOL Online Tutor (Ref:ESLTALK) is a full-time remote role focused on teaching English to speakers of other languages across different age groups and proficiency levels. Day-to-day tasks include:

  • Planning and delivering interactive online lessons
  • Using digital platforms and materials aligned with ESOL learning objectives
  • Providing constructive feedback on learners’ performance
  • Assessing learners’ progress
  • Adapting teaching approaches to different learning styles
  • Maintaining accurate records of attendance, homework, and assessments

Additional responsibilities involve:

  • Communicating clearly with learners and, where applicable, their guardians
  • Participating in training or team meetings scheduled in GMT+7
  • Ensuring a positive, inclusive, and engaging online learning environment

Qualifications

  • Good command of spoken and written English, with clear, neutral online communication
  • Reliable internet connection, suitable computer equipment, and a quiet workspace for remote teaching
  • Strong organizational skills, cultural sensitivity, and a learner-centered approach to teaching
