The Entry-Level ESOL Online Tutor (Ref:EDU08/26) will deliver live online English lessons to learners of varying ages and proficiency levels in a virtual classroom environment. In this full-time remote role, the tutor will:
- Plan and facilitate interactive lessons
- Introduce and practice grammar and vocabulary
- Support reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills
- Adapt teaching methods to meet individual learner needs
Daily tasks include:
- Conducting one-to-one or small-group sessions
- Monitoring learner progress
- Providing constructive feedback
- Using digital tools and platforms to manage classes and materials
The tutor will:
- Follow curriculum guidelines
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and performance
- Communicate professionally with learners and, where applicable, their guardians or institutional partners

The role also involves:
- Participating in training sessions
- Incorporating feedback from supervisors
- Contributing to a positive, inclusive online learning environment
Qualifications
- Comfortable working full time in a remote environment, demonstrating reliability, time management, and strong organizational skills.
- Access to a stable internet connection, a quiet workspace, and appropriate hardware (computer, headset, webcam) is required.
- An interest in cross-cultural communication, patience, and a learner-centered teaching approach will be considered strong assets.
