Role Description
The Entry-Level ESOL Online Tutor (Ref:EDU11/26) is a full-time remote role focused on teaching English to speakers of other languages in a virtual classroom setting. Day-to-day tasks include:
- Planning and delivering engaging online lessons
- Providing individual and group tutoring sessions
- Adapting teaching materials to meet learners’ levels and goals
- Assessing learner progress
- Giving constructive feedback
- Maintaining clear records of attendance and performance
Responsibilities also include:
- Communicating professionally with learners and, where applicable, guardians
- Using online platforms and tools to create an interactive and supportive learning environment
- Collaborating with the eTEFL team on best practices
- Participating in ongoing training or professional development activities

Qualifications
- Patience, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to support learners from diverse backgrounds
- Relevant training or certification in TEFL, TESOL, or ESOL (completed or in progress) is highly beneficial
- Reliable internet connection and a suitable, quiet workspace for online teaching
