Role Description
The Entry-Level ESOL Online Tutor (Ref:EDU18/26) is a full-time remote role focused on teaching English to learners from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds via online platforms. Day-to-day tasks include:
- Planning and delivering live virtual lessons
- Supporting learners with grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversational skills
- Adapting teaching materials to different proficiency levels
- Monitoring learner progress
- Providing constructive feedback
- Maintaining clear communication with learners and support staff

- Assessing learning outcomes
- Updating lesson records
- Participating in occasional training or mentorship sessions to build teaching skills
Qualifications
- Strong spoken and written English proficiency, with clear, neutral communication style.
- Comfort with online teaching tools, video conferencing software, and digital learning platforms.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to different learner needs.
- Prior teaching, tutoring, or mentoring experience (formal or informal) is an advantage but not strictly required.
