Entry-Level Financial Data Analyst

Location: London
Salary: £35,000–£40,000 + benefits.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Are you analytical, commercially minded and looking to build a strong career in finance?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful commercial business as an Entry-Level Financial Data Analyst, where you’ll gain valuable experience working with financial data, business performance and market information.

You don't need years of experience to succeed in this role. We’re looking for someone with strong numerical ability, attention to detail and the ambition to develop their career within a commercial environment.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Analysing financial and commercial data to support business decisions
  • Preparing reports, dashboards and performance summaries
  • Monitoring revenue, costs, budgets and key financial indicators
  • Identifying trends, patterns and opportunities within business data
  • Supporting forecasting, budgeting and financial planning activities
  • Working with large datasets and ensuring information is accurate and up to date
  • Assisting senior finance and commercial teams with analysis and reporting
  • Presenting findings clearly to colleagues and key stakeholders
  • Supporting improvements to financial reporting and data processes
  • Developing your knowledge of commercial finance, business performance and data analysis

What We're Looking For

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Business, Data Analytics or a related subject
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • A genuine interest in finance, data and commercial business
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop

Previous professional experience is not essential. Graduates and candidates looking to take their first step into financial data analysis are encouraged to apply.
