Waltham Abbey | Office Based | Full Time | Immediate Start

Looking for your first step into a long-term career with a great company?

We're recruiting for a Logistics Administrator to join a successful and growing business in Waltham Abbey. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organised, computer literate and keen to learn. Full training will be provided, so previous logistics experience isn't essential but if you have some admin experience or can use Excel well read on.

You'll be joining a supportive team where you'll learn how import and export shipments are managed, develop valuable administration skills and build a career within the logistics industry.

The Role

You'll support the day-to-day administration of import and export shipments, including:

  • Updating records and maintaining accurate data
  • Preparing and checking shipping documentation
  • Coordinating collections and deliveries
  • Liaising with suppliers, carriers and internal departments
  • Monitoring shipments and providing updates
  • Supporting the team to deliver excellent customer service

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Lives locally to Waltham Abbey or within a very easy commute
  • Is confident using computers
  • Has a good working knowledge of Excel
  • Has accurate keyboard and data-entry skills
  • Enjoys working in a busy environment
  • Can work to deadlines and stay organised under pressure
  • Has excellent attention to detail
  • Is eager to learn and develop a long-term career

Previous administration experience would be beneficial, but attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are far more important. Experience within logistics, shipping or imports/exports would be an advantage, but is not essential.
