Salary: £26,000 base salary + commission
Office Working: 4 days per week in the office

Rockborne is a specialist Data & AI consultancy, working with leading organisations to help them solve complex data challenges through consulting, training and talent solutions.
We are growing our commercial team and are looking for ambitious, entry-level Sales Development Representatives to join us.
You do not need previous sales experience. What matters most is your attitude, communication style, curiosity and motivation to build a long-term career in sales.
The Opportunity
As a Sales Development Representative, you will sit at the start of Rockborne’s sales process. Your role will be to identify organisations that could benefit from Rockborne’s services, start conversations with key decision makers, and generate qualified meetings for the wider commercial team.
This is not a generic, high-volume cold calling role.
You will learn how to:
- Research markets
- Understand business challenges
- Identify the right people to speak with
- Build targeted outreach campaigns
- Create meaningful commercial conversations

You will work closely with experienced sales leaders across Rockborne, including our CEO, Growth Director, Senior SDR and SDR Manager, receiving hands-on coaching and support as you develop.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Researching industries, companies and senior stakeholders to identify new business opportunities
- Building targeted outreach campaigns around specific sectors, organisations and business challenges
- Reaching out to prospective clients through phone, email, LinkedIn and other channels
- Generating qualified meetings for the wider commercial team
- Learning about the Data & AI market and how organisations build data capability
- Managing activity, conversations and follow-ups within our CRM system
- Contributing ideas to improve outreach campaigns and sales messaging
- Working towards individual and team targets in a supportive sales environment
Who We’re Looking For
We are focused on potential, not previous experience.
You could be a recent graduate, someone currently working in hospitality, retail or customer service, or someone looking to take their first step into a commercial sales career.

Career Progression
