Maidstone, Kent
EE & BT Group Broadband & Connectivity Solutions
Self- Employed | £40,000-£60,000+ OTE | Uncapped Commissions | Permanent Position

About Instant Connections

At Instant Connections, we believe the strongest brands are built through genuine human interaction.

We work alongside nationally recognised organisations to help them connect with new customers through professional, face-to-face marketing and customer acquisition campaigns.
As our Maidstone operation continues to grow, we're expanding the team supporting one of the UK's most recognised telecommunications groups, representing EE & BT Group broadband and connectivity solutions across residential communities.

We're looking for ambitious, people-focused individuals who want to develop their communication, sales and leadership skills while working towards greater responsibility within a growing team.

No previous telecommunications or sales experience is required. We provide structured training, ongoing coaching and clear opportunities to develop.

About the Opportunity

You'll begin by learning the fundamentals of customer acquisition and representing EE & BT Group products through residential face-to-face campaigns.

Rather than relying on passive advertising, you'll speak directly with customers, understand what they need from their home connectivity and introduce solutions that may suit their circumstances.
You'll learn how to communicate confidently, understand customer needs, explain products clearly and manage the customer journey professionally from the first conversation through to application.

As your experience and performance develop, there are opportunities to take on greater responsibility within the team, including coaching, leadership and management development.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be trained to:

  • Engage with customers through residential face-to-face outreach
  • Introduce EE & BT Group broadband and connectivity solutions
  • Understand individual customer needs before recommending suitable options
  • Explain broadband speeds, Wi-Fi performance, packages and contract options clearly
  • Answer questions and build trust through professional conversations
  • Guide customers through the application process accurately
  • Develop your communication, negotiation and customer engagement skills
  • Work alongside experienced team leaders to improve your performance
  • Represent Instant Connections and the brands we work with professionally

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

As you progress, you'll also have the opportunity to develop skills in team leadership, coaching and campaign management.

Training & Development

We don't expect you to arrive knowing everything.
Our training programme is designed to give you a strong understanding of both the campaign and the skills required to perform consistently.

Training includes:

  • EE & BT Group product knowledge
  • Customer communication and engagement
  • Consultative sales techniques
  • Objection handling
  • Customer care and compliance
  • Goal setting and performance development
  • Leadership and coaching fundamentals

You'll continue receiving support and feedback from experienced team leaders as you develop.

Who We're Looking For

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, people-focused environment
  • Confident communicating face to face
  • Positive, reliable and professional
  • Willing to learn and apply feedback
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working towards personal goals
  • Interested in developing leadership and management skills

Previous experience in sales, hospitality, retail, customer service, sport or other customer-facing environments can be useful, but isn't essential.

Attitude, consistency and willingness to develop matter far more to us than having a particular background.

What We Offer

  • Uncapped performance-based earnings
  • Performance incentives and recognition
  • Comprehensive initial training
  • Ongoing coaching and development
  • Regular performance feedback
  • Opportunities to progress into Team Leader, Sales Coach and management responsibilities
  • Experience representing nationally recognised brands
  • A social, ambitious and performance-focused working environment

Because earnings are performance-based, what you achieve is largely determined by the standards you set for yourself and the consistency you bring to the campaign.

Where This Can Lead

For us, entry level doesn't mean standing still.
We want people who are interested in learning how the wider operation works and developing beyond their starting responsibilities.

Those who demonstrate strong performance, professionalism and leadership potential will progress into additional responsibility, including supporting new team members, coaching, campaign leadership and management development.

The aim is to give people the skills, experience and opportunity to grow based on what they demonstrate rather than simply how long they've been here.

Interested?

If you're confident around people, motivated by personal development and looking for an opportunity where your progression can be influenced by your own performance, we'd like to hear from you.

Apply today and our team will be in touch with successful applicants to discuss the opportunity and campaign in more detail.

Important Information

This is a self-employed, commission-only opportunity with Instant Connections, an independent marketing office and authorised sales partner of EE and BT. This model gives our people complete control over their results: and rewards those who think, act, and perform differently.

You would be applying to, and if successful, engaged by Instant Connections, not by EE or BT Group.

Successful applicants will operate as Independent Field Sales Partners representing EE & BT Group products through the authorised sales network and will exclusively market and sell EE & BT Group products rather than products or services from other providers.
