Opportunity in Trauma and Orthopaedic Department
An opportunity has arisen for an individual to join our team to provide a key role in supporting the management of our waiting lists, theatre activity and related matters within the Trauma and Orthopaedic Department. The postholder will be based in Ninewells hospital and will be expected to cross cover for others within the team.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in a team with an understanding of waiting lists ideally in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Use of software such as Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Word.
- Flexible individual with the ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of NHS Tayside Access Policy and Waiting Times Guidance and experience of Trakcare booking and managing waiting lists would be advantageous.

Hours of Work and Salary
- Hours of work: 25. Please note that the salary scale for this post is pro rata for part-time hours.
