About the Role
An opportunity has arisen for an individual to join our team to provide a key role in supporting the management of our waiting lists, theatre activity and related matters within the Trauma and Orthopaedic Department. The postholder will be based in Ninewells hospital and will be expected to cross cover for others within the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the management of waiting lists, theatre activity and related matters within the Trauma and Orthopaedic Department.
- Communicate professionally with patients, their families, and various hospital staff.
- Work in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in a team with an understanding of waiting lists, ideally in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using software such as Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Word.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of NHS Tayside Access Policy and Waiting Times Guidance and experience of Trakcare booking and managing waiting lists would be advantageous.
