Environment and Public Protection Officer (Career Grade 4/5)
We have two exciting opportunities within our Environment & Community Protection team:
- 1 Full Time Post – 37 hours per week
- 1 Part Time Post – 22.2 hours per week (working days negotiable)

Help make a real difference to local communities through environmental protection and public health work, including:
- Noise nuisance investigations
- Air quality monitoring
- Contaminated land and pollution control
- Environmental enforcement and public protection

This is a career grade post and applications are welcomed from:
- candidates with a level 4 or above qualification, looking to start a career in environmental protection, would be appointed at Grade 4 with training and development provided, or
- experienced environmental protection professionals who can demonstrate the required knowledge and experience and would be appointed at Grade 5.

What We’re Looking For
- Relevant qualification in environmental health or related subject
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage workload and work independently
- Ability to support Environment and Public Protection Officers (Grade 4)
- Experience in Environmental Protection (Grade 5)
