Remote | Deferred Payment / Revenue Share
Happy Sisyphus Productions is looking for a passionate Environment Artist, VFX Artist, or a versatile artist capable of covering aspects of both roles to join the development of Colors of Our Memories, an emotional narrative VR experience currently in production for Meta Quest.
This is an opportunity to work on a released-bound indie VR title alongside experienced developers from the film, television, and games industries. While this role is currently offered on a deferred payment / revenue-share basis, it provides valuable hands-on experience shipping a commercial VR project and contributing directly to the game's visual identity. We are aiming to release an MVP in early December so the work will be from now until the end of the year. Then possibly beyond for polish and small DLC.
We welcome applications from experienced artists as well as talented graduates and early-career developers looking to build their portfolios and gain real-world production experience.
About Colors of Our Memories
Colors of Our Memories is a narrative-driven VR experience exploring memory, loss, and hope through a unique visual journey from monochrome worlds into vibrant color. Visual storytelling is at the heart of the project, and we're looking for artists who can help bring that transformation to life.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
