HSE Manager
Are you an experienced HSE Manager looking to join a well-established manufacturing business where you can influence site strategy, lead a positive safety culture and play a key role within the site leadership team?
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing engineering company where you'll take ownership of the site's Health, Safety and Environmental agenda, ensuring compliance, driving continuous improvement and supporting major business initiatives. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll help create a safe, efficient and sustainable manufacturing environment while contributing to the long-term success of the site.
Role Overview
As an HSE Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the site's Health, Safety and Environmental strategy and driving a positive safety culture.
- Ensuring compliance with HSE legislation through effective audits, policies and management systems.
- Identifying opportunities to improve safety, environmental performance and operational standards.
- Managing contractors and site facilities to ensure safe and efficient day-to-day operations.
- Supporting capital projects and site improvements, ensuring HSE is embedded throughout.

Skills and Experience
You will have the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience in an HSE Management role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.
- Experience leading audits, compliance activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proven experience managing contractors and site facilities.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
Benefits
- Salary - £60,000 and £65,000
- Package Inc: Car + 15% bonus + 10% employee pension
