We're partnering with an established engineering business in Ayrshire to recruit an HSEQ Manager — and we're particularly interested in speaking to ambitious HSEQ professionals who are ready to take greater ownership and make their mark.
This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a management-level role and take ownership of HSEQ across an entire business, while remaining close to the operation and the people within it. This isn't a desk-based HSEQ role it is a role that is visible, approachable and engaged on the shop floor.

You'll take responsibility across Health & Safety, Environment and Quality, with a particular emphasis on H&S.
The company already operates ISO 9001 and ISO 45001, so you'll take ownership of maintaining and continually improving these systems while reviewing existing processes to ensure they're practical and proportionate for the business.
You'll get involved in everything from risk assessments, COSHH and incident investigation through to quality, audits, root-cause analysis, corrective actions and continuous improvement. You'll also produce concise weekly H&S and Quality reporting, helping management understand the issues, trends and priorities that need attention.

You'll ideally bring experience from engineering, manufacturing or another hands-on operational environment, together with a solid grounding in Health & Safety.
But we're equally interested in how you operate. We are looking for someone who is:
