EHS MANAGER
Belfast | Castlewellan | Newry | Banbridge
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum
Confidential Client Opportunity
Our client is a specialist electrical contractor delivering major Data Centre, industrial and critical infrastructure projects across Northern Ireland.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead and develop the EHS function across their projects.
Reporting to the Director, you will take ownership of the EHS strategy, lead a team of EHS Leads and Advisors, and work closely with senior management and project teams to drive a strong, proactive safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the company's EHS strategy and performance.
- Manage and develop the EHS team.
- Set EHS objectives, KPIs and performance standards.
- Oversee audits, inspections, investigations and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and company standards.
- Provide expert EHS guidance to senior management and project teams.
- Drive continuous improvement across multiple projects.
- Lead EHS training and awareness initiatives.
- Manage EHS documentation, reporting, resources and performance.
- Build strong relationships with clients, contractors and key stakeholders.

About You
- 5+ years' EHS experience within construction or industrial environments.
- Previous experience managing or leading an EHS team.
- Strong construction safety and compliance knowledge.
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Proven experience driving continuous improvement.
- Data Centre, electrical, MEP or critical infrastructure experience is highly desirable.
- Relevant EHS qualification/degree.
- Full UK right to work.
