Anderson Knight is delighted to be partnering our client on a retained basis who are looking to appoint a SHEQ Manager supporting operations across Scotland. Our client is a rapidly growing business operating within the Power Distribution and EV Infrastructure sectors, delivering high-quality projects across the UK. With an expanding portfolio of work and ambitious growth plans, they are looking to strengthen their SHEQ function by appointing a proactive and driven SHEQ Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity for either an experienced SHEQ Advisor looking to take the next step in their career or an established SHEQ Manager who enjoys remaining hands-on within project environments. You will play a key role in shaping and developing the company's SHEQ culture while supporting operational teams to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and compliantly.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Lead SHEQ Manager, you will be responsible for supporting and developing all aspects of Safety, Health, Environment and Quality across our operations. This position requires a highly motivated individual who can work independently, build positive relationships with operational teams, and drive continuous improvement while supporting the company's growth ambitions. The successful candidate will be equally comfortable undertaking strategic SHEQ management responsibilities and carrying out practical site-based SHEQ advisor duties.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
