Purpose of the Role

As RVM Systems scales its operations ahead of the UK's Deposit Return Scheme rollout, we're looking for an experienced Health, Safety and Environment Manager to lead the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our health, safety, and environmental management systems. This role supports our ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 certifications and is central to embedding a strong, practical safety and sustainability culture across our warehouses and wider operations, including our field engineering workforce, reflecting RVM Systems' position as a sustainability-focused business.

Key Responsibilities

Health & Safety:

  • Own and maintain the Company's Health & Safety Policy and management system, ensuring ongoing compliance with ISO 45001
  • Develop, review, and maintain risk assessments, safe systems of work, and method statements across warehouse and field operations
  • Embed a positive, practical health and safety culture across warehouses and the wider business, working closely with warehouse, field, and office teams
  • Deliver or coordinate H&S training, inductions, and toolbox talks, including for new starters
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, ensuring appropriate reporting (including RIDDOR where applicable) and follow-up actions
  • Monitor compliance with COSHH, manual handling, DSE, fire safety, lone working, and vehicle/transport safety requirements
  • Support contractor management processes, including contractor inductions and site safety checks

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
