Role Description
The Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the London Area, United Kingdom. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining EHS policies, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with UK and EU regulations and company standards. Day-to-day activities include conducting site inspections and audits, assessing risk, and implementing corrective and preventive actions to reduce incidents and improve safety performance. The EHS Manager will investigate accidents and near-misses, prepare reports, and collaborate with project teams and senior leaders to drive continuous improvement in workplace health, safety, and environmental practices. The role also involves delivering training and toolbox talks, promoting a positive safety culture, and supporting occupational health initiatives across multiple construction sites.

- Candidates should possess strong Health & Safety and Environment Health and Safety (EHS) skills, with experience applying them in construction or civil engineering environments.
- Candidates should possess Occupational Health skills, including knowledge of workplace health risks, wellbeing practices, and relevant regulations.
- Candidates should possess Accident Investigation skills, including root cause analysis, incident reporting, and development of corrective action plans.
- Candidates should possess Training skills, with the ability to design and deliver EHS training, inductions, and toolbox talks to diverse site teams.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) and knowledge of UK and EU EHS legislation are highly beneficial.
- Experience in construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects, along with strong communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills, is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site across multiple projects, influence safety culture, and use EHS management systems and reporting tools effectively.
