Job Title: Environmental Advisor

A globally leading chemical manufacturing company located in Lincolnshire is seeking an Environmental Advisor to join their team, offering a salary of up to £65,000 per annum. The comprehensive benefits package includes a double-figure pension, EV Car Scheme, hybrid working options, private medical insurance, and 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays including numerous other incentives.

Role Overview

As an Environmental Advisor, you will be accountable for ensuring compliance across the site, maintaining documentation, and providing specialist support to the wider SHE team. You will play a key role in monitoring, inspections, audits, and risk assessments, while working closely with regulatory bodies and supporting continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and site standards.
  • Conduct inspections, monitoring, and risk assessments, ensuring recommendations are followed through.
  • Act as a key liaison with the Environment Agency and facilitate external ISO accreditation audits.
  • Analyse data and produce reports to support compliance and site performance.
  • Provide training, coaching, and advice to colleagues across the site.

Requirements

We are seeking an Environmental professional with a science-based qualification and experience working within an industrial environment. You will have experience with overseeing Management Systems alongside knowledge of Permitting Regulations, UK ETS, and Waste Regulations.
