Use your environmental expertise to make a visible difference

Are you an experienced environmental professional looking for a role where you can influence decisions, shape project outcomes and see your advice put into practice?

We're looking for an Environmental Advisor to join our specialist team, providing environmental expertise across nationally significant public safety, mine water treatment, river pollution prevention and land remediation projects throughout Great Britain.

This is an opportunity to work on projects that protect communities, improve watercourses, restore landscapes and support nature recovery across former mining areas.

What you'll be doing

As a trusted environmental advisor, you'll work alongside project managers, engineers and technical specialists to:

  • Identify environmental risks, constraints and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Shape environmental surveys, assessments and consenting strategies.
  • Provide advice on planning, permitting and regulatory requirements.
  • Review and assure work delivered by consultants and contractors.
  • Build positive relationships with regulators and environmental stakeholders.
  • Embed environmental protection, sustainability and nature recovery into project delivery.
  • Visit sites across Great Britain to support practical, real-world environmental solutions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What we're looking for

  • Experience working with regulators and statutory stakeholders.
  • The ability to interpret technical information and provide practical, proportionate advice.
