The Vacancy
Workspace Group is a leading provider of flexible office space across London, committed to creating sustainable and efficient workplaces. As we continue progressing toward our carbon net zero ambitions, we are seeking a highly analytical and motivated Environmental & Energy Analyst to play a pivotal role in reducing energy consumption across our portfolio.
Reporting to the FM Contract Manager, you will be responsible for analysing, monitoring and optimising energy and environmental performance across Workspace’s buildings. This is a data-driven role requiring strong analytical capability, commercial awareness and the confidence to influence stakeholders across Facilities Management, Sustainability and Finance.
You will help shape our metering strategy, support energy procurement, and provide insight that drives measurable improvements in consumption, compliance and cost efficiency.

- STEM degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of BMS/BEMS.
- Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking ability.
- Excellent written, verbal and visual communication.
- Commercially aware and financially astute.
- Organised, proactive, methodical and able to work under pressure.
- Strong influencing skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Passion for sustainability and continuous improvement.
Desirable
- TM44, DEC, ESOS or BREEAM experience.
- Experience in large property portfolios or energy management.
- Knowledge of on-site generation (CHP, standby systems).
- Understanding of CRC, ESOS, DECs, MEES, ISO 50001.
- Experience with energy analytics or visualisation tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Visio).
- Awareness of carbon accounting and auditing methodologies.
This role requires you to be on site 4 days a week.
