Location: Aura Business Centre, East Lindsey, PE25 3SJ
Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Working Pattern: 5 days out of 7 between 07:00 and 19:00
Requirement: Full UK Driving Licence, Basic DBS, and must be aged 21+ for insurance purposes
About The Role

Kingdom is recruiting for a full-time Environmental Enforcement Officer to support environmental enforcement operations across East Lindsey.
Working from the Aura Business Centre, Skegness (PE25 3SJ), you will help protect the local environment, tackle environmental crime, and promote cleaner, safer communities. This is a varied and rewarding role that combines enforcement, investigation, public engagement, and education.
As part of the role, you will be required to drive a company vehicle, therefore candidates must be aged 21 or over for insurance purposes and hold a valid UK driving licence.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out proactive and reactive patrols across East Lindsey.
- Investigate environmental offences including:
- Fly-tipping
- Waste-related offences
- Abandoned vehicles
- Graffiti
- Littering
- Other environmental crimes
- Engage positively with members of the public, residents, and local businesses.
- Educate individuals on environmental legislation and compliance.
- Issue Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) where appropriate.
- Gather evidence and compile reports and case files.
- Use enforcement technology and surveillance equipment where required.
- Support legal proceedings and provide witness statements when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Ensure all investigations are carried out in line with legislation and company procedures.

Working Pattern
- 37.5 hours per week
- 5 days out of 7
- Shifts worked between 07:00 and 19:00
- Weekend working may be required in line with operational needs.
- Flexibility is essential to meet service requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident and professional approach when dealing with the public.
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and report-writing skills.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
- Must be aged 21 or over for company vehicle insurance purposes.
- Basic DBS check required.
- Ability to provide a full 5-year checkable employment history.
- Previous enforcement, security, customer service, or public-facing experience is desirable but not essential.
