Role Overview
As a EHS Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in embedding a high-performing safety, health, wellbeing and environmental (SHW&E) culture across our UK operations. Working in close partnership with senior leaders, executive stakeholders, and cross-functional teams, you will be accountable for driving compliance, enhancing SHW&E performance, and ensuring leadership accountability in line with internal standards, legal obligations, and external accreditations.

You will contribute to shaping and delivering our SHW&E strategy, policies, and systems to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our people and the resilience of our operations.
Key Responsibilities

- Provide expert advice and challenge to ensure that SHW&E is embedded into operational decisions, behaviours, and leadership accountability frameworks.
- Lead and support strategic SHW&E initiatives and transformation projects.
- Promote a proactive, learning-oriented safety culture across the organisation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
