Environmental, Health and Safety Lead

The Environmental, Health and Safety Lead is responsible for ensuring compliance with global environmental regulations and overseeing workplace health and safety programs. The role manages compliance for packaging & electronics recycling, and related regulatory requirements, coordinates employee Health & Safety training, and supports supplier quality administration for Stock Action Requests (SAR), Requests for Concession (RFC), and Environmental Health & Safety administrative activities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage global environmental compliance programs to ensure compliance with applicable environmental regulations, including packaging, electronics, batteries recycling, and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) requirements
  • Monitor changes in environmental legislation and coordinate implementation of new compliance requirements across the business
  • Coordinate environmental reporting, registrations, declarations, and regulatory submissions with external compliance providers and regulatory agencies
  • Support sustainability initiatives through waste reduction, recycling, and environmentally responsible business practices
  • Maintain environmental compliance records, certifications, and supporting documentation
  • Coordinate company Safety programs, including employee training, workplace inspections, and safety awareness initiatives as needed
  • Conduct workplace incident investigations, risk assessments, and corrective actions to promote a safe working environment
  • Process and coordinate Quality & Environmental Health & Safety purchase orders and invoices with the Finance team
  • Promote continuous improvement in environmental compliance and workplace safety while performing other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational, Health & Safety sciences or related discipline
  • 3 - 5 years’ experience in an Environmental, Health and Safety position
  • Knowledge of environmental reporting systems and regulations
  • Experience coordinating Health & Safety training and workplace safety programs
  • Experience coordinating with regulatory agencies, consultants, and third-party compliance providers

Base Range: £42,800 - £58,800 + Bonus Eligible
