⚠️NEW ROLE: Environmental Health Officer and Private Sector Housing Officer

Rate - £ TBC umbrella per/hour

Location: West of England

Are you an experienced EHO looking for a fresh challenge with a busy local authority? We are partnering with a progressive council to secure a qualified Environmental Health Officer who can hit the ground running. This role is perfect for a multi-skilled professional who enjoys a diverse caseload across both Environmental Protection and Private Sector Housing.

🏠 Private Sector Housing

  • Conducting detailed HHSRS inspections
  • Managing HMO licensing workflows
  • Driving robust enforcement actions to elevate local housing standards

🌱 Environmental Protection

  • Investigating complex noise and statutory nuisances
  • Monitoring local air quality and pollution control
  • Providing expert consultations on planning applications

What you need to bring to the table:

  • EHORB Registration (Essential)
  • Degree / Master’s in Environmental Health (or equivalent)
  • Recent Local Authority experience within a UK council
  • Dual capability across both housing enforcement and pollution control
