Location:

Hybrid working with regular visits to sites nationwide and offices (including Bedford HQ and Barden Leicester Distribution Centre).

Salary:

up to £50,000 + annual company performance related bonus up to 20% + private medical + 33 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays + employer pension contribution up to 10%

At Autoglass®, we're looking for an experienced EHS Compliance & Assurance Manager to drive our compliance and assurance activities across a diverse, multi-site operation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a NEBOSH Diploma-qualified specialist who combines strong regulatory knowledge with a data-driven, digitally focused approach to health, safety and environmental management.

Reporting to the Head of EHS & Responsible Business, you'll play a key role in ensuring compliance with UK legislation, ISO standards and Belron Group requirements, while using technology, data and insight to drive continuous improvement across the business.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead and coordinate EHS compliance, assurance and audit programmes across the UK.
  • Conduct audits, inspections and compliance reviews, ensuring actions are tracked through to completion.
  • Manage legal compliance registers and monitor emerging legislation and regulatory changes.
  • Support and continuously improve ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for EHS reporting systems, dashboards and performance data.
  • Use data analytics to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Support external assurance activities, including ISO certifications, EcoVadis, ESOS and customer audits.
  • Partner with operational leaders to strengthen risk management, compliance and safe ways of working.
  • Deliver meaningful reporting and insights that support leadership decision-making and organisational learning.

What We're Looking For

  • NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in EHS compliance, assurance, auditing or management systems.
  • Strong knowledge of UK health, safety and environmental legislation.
  • Experience supporting ISO 45001 and/or ISO 14001 frameworks.
  • Highly analytical, with a passion for using systems, data and technology to improve performance.
  • Confident influencing stakeholders and translating complex requirements into practical solutions.
  • Experience within a multi-site operational environment is advantageous.
  • Full UK driving licence.
