Job Description
Raymarine is a world leader in marine electronics with over 80 years of heritage, developing radar, autopilots, GPS, chartplotters, and a wide range of advanced instrumentation. It offers the opportunity to grow and develop within a multi‑faceted, complex business while contributing to delivery of cutting‑edge, high‑performance technology for a well‑established global brand.
We are seeking a confident, proactive, Facilities & EHS Manager to join Raymarine at its Headquarters in Fareham, UK. The Facility operating with over 200 employees plays a key role in the research and design of a range of marine electronic products. Our service & repair center focus on the service and repair of Customer owned product in addition to refurb of Raymarine owned stock. The Facility also houses back-office functions in support of our main R&D, Service & Repair operations.
The Facilities & EHS Manager is responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of company facilities while leading environmental, health, safety, and sustainability initiatives across the organization. The role ensures compliance with all relevant legislation, company policies, and industry standards while creating a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
The position manages facility maintenance, contractor controls, emergency preparedness, environmental compliance, occupational health and safety programs, and sustainability initiatives to support business objectives.

Facilities Management – Key Responsibilities
- Manage all site facilities, buildings, infrastructure, and grounds.
- Manage facilities budgets and expenditure.
- Manage business continuity plans and critical infrastructure resilience.
- Ensure effective contractor and vendor management.
Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) – Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with UK Health & Safety legislation and environmental regulations.
- Conduct workplace inspections, audits, and safety reviews.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and root causes.
- Support occupational health initiatives and employee wellbeing.
Environmental & Sustainability Management – Key Responsibilities
- Develop environmental management programs.
- Manage waste reduction, recycling, and resource efficiency initiatives.
- Support energy management and carbon reduction programmes.
- Track environmental KPIs and sustainability targets.
Company – Key Responsibilities
- Carry out the role in accordance with all relevant legislation and following Raymarine’s policies and processes (including but not limited to those relating to ethics, compliance, cyber security, product development, labour and human rights, and the environment.)
- Undertake all mandatory training as requested.
Compliance & Governance
Ensure compliance with:
- Health and Safety at Work Act
- Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations
- Environmental Protection Act
- Fire Safety Regulations
- ISO 14001
- Relevant local authority regulations
To be ready to take on this role we would love if you have
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent Occupational Health & Safety qualification.
- IOSH Membership
- IWFM Qualification.
- Significant experience managing Facilities and/or EHS functions.
- Experience managing regulatory compliance programmes.
- Experience leading accident investigations and corrective actions.
- Experience in managing contractors and service providers.
- Proven experience delivering continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience in multinational organisations
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage across all departments.
- Experience managing capital projects and facilities upgrades.
