An Opportunity to Join the EHS Team in the UK Division of a Global Chemicals Business
Assist with the update of key EHS procedures in a new EHS Management system.
Duties
- Writing procedures to fill identified gaps in their Responsible Care System; examples of procedures needed are:
- Permit to work system
- Management of contractors
- Change management
- Emergency response procedures
- Handling and storage of packaging and waste etc.
You will be working under the direction of a senior EHS team member who can provide guidance and support.

- Some H&S competence
- Some experience of writing procedures (anything H&S related e.g. COSHH)
- Document management experience (ideally SharePoint)
- Some understanding of EHS Management systems e.g. 14001, 45001
A chemical industry background would be beneficial or some experience of working with chemicals.
This role could suit a graduate with an interest in EHS or someone more experienced looking to assist a business update their EHS procedures. This will initially be a contract/temporary role; there is scope for development and extension for the right person.
