Environmental Manager | £60,000–£65,000 + Car + Bonus | Warrington
This is an opportunity to move beyond simply monitoring compliance!
- You’ll work across a growing portfolio of construction projects, helping site teams manage environmental risk, improve performance and embed better ways of working from pre-construction through to delivery.
- It’s a visible, hands-on role. You’ll be conducting site audits, advising on materials, waste and permits, supporting ISO 14001 and working directly with project teams to turn environmental requirements into practical action.
- The business already has a strong reputation and an impressive project pipeline. Now, it’s continuing to invest in its environmental capability, and you’ll play an important part in that journey. You’ll have autonomy, variety and exposure across the business, but you’ll also need the confidence to challenge, influence and bring site teams with you.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
