Environmental Manager - Europe
Location: United Kingdom / Europe - Travel 2 weeks of the month
Salary: Strong Salary + Bonus + Benefits
We’re partnering with an internationally recognised digital infrastructure and data center developer looking to appoint an Environmental Manager to support its growing portfolio of major data center developments across the UK and Europe.
This is a newly created Environmental Manager role that will work across multiple construction projects, supporting project teams, contractors, and key stakeholders to maintain high environmental standards, manage environmental risk, and ensure regulatory compliance throughout the development and construction lifecycle.
The position will combine project-level environmental management with the opportunity to help develop and improve environmental standards, environmental management systems, and best practice across a growing European data center portfolio.

The key responsibilities of the Environmental Manager - Europe:
- Support environmental management and performance across major European data center construction projects
- Provide environmental guidance to project teams, contractors, and key stakeholders
- Carry out environmental audits, site inspections, compliance assessments, and project reviews
- Support compliance with UK, local, and European environmental legislation and regulatory requirements
- Monitor environmental performance, reporting, environmental risks, and key metrics
- Support environmental management systems (EMS) and the implementation of environmental policies and procedures
- Help drive consistent environmental standards, best practice, and continuous improvement across the European portfolio

The Environmental Manager - Europe will have:
- Strong environmental management experience within data centers, M&E, construction, infrastructure, engineering, or major projects
- Good knowledge of UK and European environmental legislation, compliance, and environmental management systems
- Experience supporting major construction or infrastructure projects through the development and construction lifecycle
- Experience working with project teams, principal contractors, consultants, and senior stakeholders
- Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
- Relevant environmental qualification and professional memberships
- Willingness to travel across European data center project locations as required
