• Establish and foster positive professional relationships with keys clients, consultants and suppliers
• Provide environmental advice and support to project teams and supply chain during project mobilisation phase
• Provide environmental advice and support to ‘in-progress’ project management teams
• Prepare timely post-audit reports and identified actions to project and company management teams
• Monitor the completion of corrective & preventative actions and the close-out of NCR’s
• Assist in the preparation monthly SHE performance data and reports for management and senior leadership

• Assist and support the Bid team during tender and preconstruction stages
• Develop effective working relationships with project teams, senior management, clients, regulators and supply chain partners

• Support Farrans position as recognised environmental sustainability leader on joint ventures

Sustainable Growth

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and apply a long-term plan to enhance Company environmental performance
• Participate in post-project reviews and lessons-learned exercises to ensure improvements are captured as part of the SHE improvement plans
• Support the development of continuous improvement practices including SHE alerts, communication and knowledge sharing
• Support the development and upskilling of key supply chain partners to achieve greater SHE performance

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least five years’ experience working in construction environmental sustainability role
• Effective working knowledge of environmental legislation, environmental permitting processes and compliance management
• Working with multiple stakeholders and locations
• Working knowledge of BREEAM / BREEAM Infrastructure requirements on projects
• Working knowledge of issues such as noise, water management, ecology and waste management
• Experience collecting and analysing environmental performance data
• Knowledge of carbon management and Net Zero principles within construction
• Understanding of circular economy and resource efficiency practices
• Understanding of Biodiversity Net Gain requirements
• Experience of planning, implementing and operating SHEQ management standards and processes
• Strong proficiency in MS Office suite (particularly Excel & Word) and using online project document management portals, such as Deltek PIM (FOCAL), Aconex, etc
