An RSK Group company is recruiting for an Environmental Monitoring Technician to join the team based in Bristol, UK. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Responsibilities
- Managing geoenvironmental monitoring and sampling fieldworks; activities including gas and groundwater monitoring, in-situ geotechnical testing, stockpile and soil sampling
- Supporting the site engineers in undertaking initial site walkovers and delivering ground investigations
- Managing samples and data collected as part of ground investigations
- Production of factual field recorded reports for the geoenvironmental monitoring

Qualifications And Experience
- A Levels/Highers/HNC in maths, English, and science subjects
- BSc degree level qualified in Geology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related subject advantageous but not essential
- CSCS card advantageous however not essential
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Previous similar work experience in particular environmental monitoring is desirable but not essential, however, a basic understanding of site works and field investigation is preferable. Full training will be given
