We're looking for an Environmental Operations Supervisor to take the lead in keeping our site environmentally compliant, operationally efficient, and continually improving. If you're someone who enjoys leading people, solving problems, and driving real environmental change, this could be the perfect next step.
What you'll be doing:
As our Environmental Operations Coordinator, you'll be the driving force behind our day-to-day environmental operations. From managing waste streams and leading a small team to working with contractors and supporting site-wide sustainability projects, no two days are the same.
You'll:

- Keep us compliant with environmental legislation, permits, and Duty of Care requirements.
- Carry out audits, inspections, and monitor environmental performance.
- Identify smarter, greener, and more cost-effective ways of managing waste.
- Support environmental projects, awareness campaigns, and our ambitious Zero Harm strategy.
- Use data and KPIs to help drive continuous improvement across the site.
What we're looking for:
- Experience supervising operational teams within manufacturing, industrial, or logistics environments.
- A background in environmental operations or waste management.
- Knowledge of environmental legislation and waste compliance.
- Experience managing contractors and conducting audits.
- Great organisational skills with the confidence to lead, influence, and build strong relationships.
- A proactive mindset—you don't just spot problems, you solve them.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
