Ownership

Purpose

Brewing the world’s most loved beers and building brands consumers love, AB InBev is where ownership, ambition, and action thrive. Our portfolio of iconic brands includes global classics like Stella Artois, Budweiser, and Corona, and well-known favorites such as Camden Hells, Beck’s, and Leffe. We empower you to dream big, lead change, and create a long-lasting legacy. We value relentless problem-solvers who take accountability, embrace challenges, and turn bold goals into results through resilience and hard work.

That’s Who We Are: Come and OWN IT.

The Role

The EHS Manager is responsible for leading the brewery's Environment, Health & Safety agenda, ensuring compliance with AB InBev standards, legal requirements, and VPO methodologies while driving a proactive, ownership-based safety culture.

The role will champion AB InBev's ambition to achieve world-class safety performance, eliminate Serious Injuries & Fatalities (SIFs), reduce environmental impacts, and embed safety as a core value across all brewery operations. The EHS Manager serves as a key member of the brewery leadership team and acts as the technical authority on EHS matters. AB InBev's safety approach emphasizes risk reduction, continuous improvement, employee ownership, psychological safety, and strong leadership accountability.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Safety Leadership & Culture: Lead AB InBev’s Health & Safety strategy, embed the SAFE Together culture, develop safety-focused leaders, and integrate safety ownership into operational decisions and performance reviews.
  • Risk Management: Lead SIF prevention and risk assessments, ensuring robust controls for high-risk activities including confined spaces, working at height, electrical safety, LOTO, process safety, mobile equipment, machinery, chemicals, and contractors.
  • Incident Management: Lead investigations, root-cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions, trend analysis, and sharing of lessons learned across the brewery and wider zone.
  • Environmental Management: Ensure environmental compliance while driving improvements in water, waste, packaging circularity, energy efficiency, carbon reduction, wastewater, decarbonization, and renewable energy.
  • Compliance & Governance: Maintain compliance with AB InBev standards, EHS legislation, ISO 14001/45001, audits, permits, licenses, and statutory requirements; provide timely leadership reporting.
  • VPO & Continuous Improvement: Own the VPO Safety Pillar, lead governance and capability development, apply data-driven leading indicators, and drive best-practice implementation and risk elimination.
  • Occupational Health & Wellbeing: Lead occupational health and industrial hygiene programs covering noise, dust, chemical and ergonomic risks, while promoting wellbeing, psychological safety, health surveillance, and fitness-for-work.
  • Capability Development: Build EHS capability through training, coaching, onboarding, hazard recognition, and risk-assessment development for employees, leaders, and contractors.
  • Performance & KPIs: Drive performance against key safety, environmental, and management-system KPIs, including fatalities/SIFs, LTIFR, TRIR, near misses, corrective actions, water/energy/carbon, waste, compliance, audits, VPO maturity, and training.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
